Large Hot-Dip Galvanized Water Tank Fully Installed on 16m Steel Tower in Iraq

A large-sized customized hot-dip galvanized sectional water tank with overall dimensions of 19.52m × 14.64m × 4.88m has been successfully installed, inspected and fully put into operation on a 16-meter-high steel tower in Iraq, marking another high-quality project delivery in the Middle East region.

As a core water storage and water supply facility, the hot-dip galvanized steel water tank adopts advanced hot-dip galvanizing technology, which endows the equipment with excellent anti-rust, anti-corrosion and weather resistance properties. It can effectively adapt to Iraq’s harsh local climate characterized by high temperature, strong sunlight, dry air and frequent sand and dust weather, completely solving the problem of easy corrosion and short service life of ordinary water tanks in extreme outdoor environments. In addition, the tank features high structural strength, strong pressure resistance, stable overall performance and zero water leakage, with a long service life and minimal later maintenance costs, greatly improving the practicability and economy of on-site water supply systems.

Different from ground-mounted water tanks, this project adopts a 16-meter elevated steel tower installation solution. The high-altitude installation method forms a stable water head pressure, which realizes automatic and continuous water supply, effectively meeting the daily water use, production water supply and water reserve demands of local supporting facilities. It provides a reliable and stable water guarantee for the normal operation of the project and greatly improves the efficiency of the regional water supply system.
