Recently, our customized 9m×5m×4m bolted hot-dip galvanized water tank arrived at the construction site in Kenya, with full on-site assembly work underway. This 200 cubic meters storage tank will deliver stable domestic and emergency water supply for local community infrastructure.

Fabricated from Q235 steel with full hot-dip galvanization, the tank features a 100–150μm thick zinc coating that bonds metallurgically with steel. Acting as a sacrificial anode, the zinc layer continuously protects the base metal even if scratched or dented. It perfectly resists Kenya’s harsh conditions including high temperature, strong UV radiation, dust and humid rainy seasons, offering a service life over 30 years, far longer than painted steel tanks.
Modular Bolted Structure, Easy On-site Assembly
Standard pressed galvanized panels are packed separately for sea freight, cutting logistics cost for oversize cargo. No welding machines are required during installation; workers assemble panels simply with bolts and EPDM gaskets, greatly shortening construction time and fitting African sites with limited equipment.
High Structural Strength & Zero Leakage
Integral reinforcing ribs on panels, matched with hot-dip galvanized tension bars and flanges, ensure stable pressure resistance without deformation. Seams sealed with aging-resistant rubber gaskets eliminate leakage risks, ideal for long-term storage of potable water and fire reserve water for municipal, residential and agricultural irrigation projects.

Compared with stainless steel tanks, hot-dip galvanized solutions lower initial investment. The smooth zinc surface prevents limescale buildup, requiring minimal routine maintenance, which fits tight budget plans of African construction projects.
